The NADCP’s (National Assoc. of Drug Court Professionals) National Conference in Nashville, TN - Rise22 - is the single largest gathering of treatment court professionals the world has seen - over 7,000 attendees. HEART 9/11 Founder/President Bill Keegan will present during "The Color of Law" skills-building workshop. Bill will give an overview of the HEART 9/11 SMART(Stress Management And Resiliency Training) Program, developed by Dr. Herbert Benson, founder of Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at MGH. This program provides first responders the self-care tools they need to reduce stress, regain a sense of control, and enhance their quality of life. The National Fraternal Order of Police Division of Wellness Services has recognized the HEART 9/11 SMART Training Program as an FOP Vetted & Approved #WellnessProgram for law enforcement. This designation is awarded to wellness programs deemed to be of high caliber in the provision of services to the profession.
