Hurricane Beryl Grenada Response

The early arrival of Category 5 Hurricane Beryl left a devastating impact, particularly in Carriacou, Grenada. The residents of this island lost everything and were desperate for our help. The storm damaged practically all of the structures on the island, affecting its entire population. HEART 9/11 deployed 3 teams of highly skilled volunteers from NYC to deliver critical aid directly to the hardest-hit areas and to assist in all aspects of hurricane response - emergency operations, debris clearing, damage mitigation/assessments, supply distribution and clean-up. Thank you HEART 9/11 volunteers from Local 79, LiUNA and FDNY for supporting our mission.
