An evening of reflection and resilience: join us as we pay tribute to New York’s 9/11 recovery mission workers and the pandemic’s frontline heroes to benefit HEART 9/11’s mission to use our grit and experience to aid those in need.
From the devastation of September 11, when members of the FDNY, NYPD, PAPD, and Greater New York Building trades rushed toward the destruction to assist however they could, to September 12, when these same individuals began the arduous, courageous and dangerous mission of finding survivors and recovering those who were lost. From early spring of 2020, as New York City once again became Ground Zero of what would become a global pandemic - to the days, weeks, and years to follow that saw selfless essential workers and first responders again answering the call to save their fellow New Yorkers.
When there is always the choice of giving in to fear and retreating into the darkness, New Yorkers always choose to fight back.
Join HEART 9/11 as we honor those who choose to fight back and help make our world safer, more compassionate, and more resilient.
