Variety Power of Women NYC Event

Variety’s Women’s Impact Report  showcases the most powerful women working in entertainment who have made significant contributions to charitable causes and the advancement of women in their respective industries.

HEART 9/11 is proud to have Variety magazine recognize and honor our dear friend Rosie Perez at the 2023 Variety Power of Women NY event. Rosie worked closely with HEART 9/11 as we rebuilt Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria one roof at a time and continues to support our work around the globe and in our backyard. Each honoree chooses a charity to spotlight in their magazine cover story and speech at the event. Rosie has chosen HEART 9/11 to highlight. Judy Blume, Natasha Lyonne, Kelly Ripa, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez are the other honorees.
