HEART 9/11 Responder 2 Responder Gerritsen Beach, NY

HEART 9/11 received a Request for Assistance in Gerritsen Beach, Brooklyn to help widen two doorways (entry door and interior) to make them wheelchair accessible. The homeowner has spina bifida and recently had to have his leg amputated. The team went back to modify a bathroom to also make it wheelchair accessible - work included, plumbing, electric, framing, sheetrock, painting and tiling.
