Kentucky Tornado Responses

In December 2021, HEART 9/11 deployed Rapid Response Teams to the Mayfield, KY area who had extensive chainsaw training to assist with emergency operations, road openings, debris clearing, damage mitigation/assessments, and clean-up.

In June 2022, HEART 9/11 deployed an additional Rapid Response team to work in Cayce on a Vietnam veteran's severely damaged home. The team worked with Cypress Missions doing electric work in the crawl cellar, floor decking, walls and roofing.

The HEART 9/11 Kentucky Tornado Response team is back on the ground in Cayce continuing work on the Vietnam veteran's home and other community projects.
