Hurricane Dorian Bahamas On-Going Response

HEART 9/11 volunteers are back at work repairing/rehabbing existing structures in Green Turtle Cay. The scope of work includes roof repair, siding, sheetrock, windows, doors, stairs and landings, bathroom installation, kitchen installation, and deck repair. HEART 9/11 provided the skilled building trades volunteers to get the job done.

Team M/V Adventure has been on the island two weeks after Hurricane Dorian hit and has worked with the United Aid Foundation getting supplies. Team M/V Adventure provided the building materials. HEART 9/11 continues to establish partnerships with the Bahamian community and grassroots organizations to collaborate on long-term recovery efforts.
