Hurricane Helene FL and NC Response
HEART 9/11 is currently addressing the urgent needs resulting from Hurricane Helene, which caused extensive damage across several states. We have deployed two teams to Perry and Port Charlotte, Florida, and a third team is working in Mitchell County, North Carolina, to clear trees and debris from roads and homes. Teams 4, and 5 are prepared to be deployed later this week.
Our highly skilled volunteers are assisting with emergency operations, debris clearing, damage assessments, muckouts, and clean-up. We are also providing support to first responders and helping to restore the homes of those affected by the hurricane.
HEART 9/11 is taking care of first responders who are selflessly serving their communities and the homes of the community at large.
