Hurricane Helene FL and NC Response
HEART 9/11 addressed the urgent needs resulting from Hurricane Helene, which caused extensive damage across several states. We deployed two teams to Perry and Port Charlotte, Florida, and seven teams worked in Mitchell County, North Carolina, to clear trees and debris from roads and homes.
Our highly skilled volunteers assisted with emergency operations, debris clearing, damage assessments, muckouts, and clean-up. We also provided support to first responders and helped to restore the homes of those affected by the hurricane.
HEART 9/11 took care of first responders who were selflessly serving their communities and the homes of the community at large.
