High School for Construction Trades, Engineering & Architecture Training

HEART 9/11, along with team leaders from the New York City District Council of Carpenters and the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers, is training seniors at the High School for Construction Trades, Engineering, and Architecture in Ozone Park on Saturdays to prepare them for The SkillsUSA state championships, scheduled for April 23-25. The students are constructing a basic bathroom, which involves framing, electrical work, sheathing, and masonry.
