HEART 9/11 Receives the Caruth Police Institute 2021 Trailblazer Award of Excellence

HEART 9/11 was presented the Caruth Police Institute 2021 Trailblazer Award of Excellence for dedication to duty, training, and personal commitment to law enforcement to take constructive action to create a program to mitigate the effects of stress and trauma on law enforcement officers mental health. CPI at UNT Dallas is a police science institute dedicated to excellence in research, policy analysis, and training. HEART 9/11 looks forward to continued conversation with CPI regarding the SMART (Stress Management and Resiliency Training) Program for First Responders.
