HEART 9/11 is Back in The Bahamas

Work continues….The HEART 9/11 Hurricane Dorian Rebuild Team worked in Green Turtle Cay re-siding homes, repairing/rebuilding stairs, and assessing additional work to be done in the community. Green Turtle Cay is one of the barrier islands off mainland Great Abaco, The Bahamas. It can only be reached via ferry from the mainland or boat. There is not an airport on the island making deployment to the island from the tristate area a challenge.

HEART 9/11 is proud to be part of the Hurricane Dorian rebuild team. Together with our friends Team M/V Adventure we are making a difference in this devastated community. HEART 9/11 volunteer, Dan Hannigan, shares with us the progress on one of the homes this amazing organization is rebuilding.

The HEART 9/11 Hurricane Dorian Rebuild team was back in High Rock Bahamas building a church with our friends from Men and Women of Action. In just a few days we were able to give a church to this small community on the eastern side of the grand Bahamas. Thank you Bishop Moses Johnson and the Church of God Bahamas team. HEART 9/11 will be sending additional teams down in the next several of months to finish this church completely. The legacy of 9/11 continues in the spirit and actions of HEART 9/11 members.
