The HEART 9/11 rebuild team worked at Serenity Stables, a farm that provides veterans equine therapy to counter the symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress, in Atlantic Highlands, NJ.

Work completed in 14 hours:
  • Observation deck constructed for veterans with wheelchairs to interact at eye level with the horses
  • 50 yard trench with piping built to stop the stable flooding conditions and mitigate soil erosion
  • An additional stall area was created allowing more horses to be available
  • Ramps built to make the farm more handicap friendly and to help with getting quadriplegic wounded veterans on horses
HEART 9/11 is so honored to repay these veterans for their service and sacrifice.
