HEART 9/11 Flood Response team leaders left HEART 9/11 headquarters in Newark, NJ Saturday (10/21) on way to Fayetteville, NC to help veterans, active military families, first responders, and the elderly/handicapped needing assistance with debris removal cleanup. Team leaders were joined by Nam Knights of America motorcycle club, TarHeel and Old North chapters http://www.namknights.org/ The Nam Knights Tarheel Chapter devote themselves to many worthy causes that support community, law enforcement and veterans. Saturday the team assisted HEART 9/11 with tree and debris removal from 5 homes damaged by Hurricane Matthew. Sunday HEART 9/11 volunteers removed sheetrock from ceilings damaged by 10’ flood waters. The HEART 9/11 Flood Response team leaders returned to the Newark warehouse Monday evening.Thank you New York City Fire Department (FDNY) and Nam Knights of America for supporting HEART 9/11’s mission to Respond, Rebuild, Recover.
