Ramón Rodríguez Donation Drive for Hurricane Maria
Having been first generation born in New York City and the rest of my family being born and many still living in Puerto Rico, the recent hurricanes that ripped through the island ripped a piece of my heart at the same time. It will be a long road to recovery. I wanted to have a direct impact on helping people on the island – specifically those in remote areas – I have decided to start this donation drive to support an organization that I know is on the ground making a difference in Puerto Rico – HEART 9/11.
Your generous donation will allow HEART 9/11 – a team of first responders from the NYPD, FDNY, PAPD and the NYC Building Trades that bonded in the aftermath of September 11, 2001 – to utilize their training and expertise to help the people and communities in Puerto Rico that were impacted by Hurricane Maria.
Please join me in helping rebuild the island of Puerto Rico. Donations are tax deductible.
HEART 9/11 is a non-governmental, non-sectarian all volunteer disaster response organization. Contributions to HEART 9/11, a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
