Help 7 families in PR return to a safe “Home for the Holidays”
Three years after Hurricane Maria, tens of thousands of families are still without roofs. HEART 9/11 has rebuilt 425 homes following Hurricane Maria and have identified these seven families as some of the neediest. Your gift today will ensure they return to a safe and secure “Home for the Holidays”.
- These seven homes have suffered extensive damage from being exposed to the weather elements for the past three years
- All required building material and ancillary costs have been donated
- For only an additional $5,000, a home can be completed by our local Puerto Rican Pre-Apprentice teams
- Positive economic impact in the local municipalities through the employment of local residents and purchase of locally sourced building materials
*Full home funding of $5,000 is acknowledged on the HEART 9/11 website. You will also receive a personalized plaque of the family pictured in front of their “new home.”
Thank you for your generous donation. HEART 9/11 is a non-governmental, non-sectarian all-volunteer disaster response organization.
