HEART 9/11 members were excited to attend the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind-Body Medicine at MGH annual continuing medical education (CME) conference on October 23-25 in Boston, MA. Participants learned how to incorporate mind-body medicine into day-to-day practice to improve the care of patients with stress-related conditions. Offered in conjunction with Harvard Medical School, the conference draws hundreds of mind-body enthusiasts from around the world. This program is among the highest-rated Harvard Medical School CME courses. HEART 9/11 has attended the conference since 2016 and continues to come away with a better understanding of how mind-body medicine positively affects the body and the brain.
