Dear Members and Supporters,

Once again thank you for your participation in H.E.A.R.T. 9/11 and your hard work, which contributed to an injured marine dreaming new dreams.

Corporal Manny Jiminez’s new home is now finished and the keys will be turned over to him by Purple Heart Homes during a ceremony on June 23, 2012.

Because of H.E.A.R.T. 9/11’s contributions our presence has been requested to not only celebrate Manny’s new home but also his official retirement from the marines.

On March 23rd, 100 H.E.A.R.T. 9/11 members gathered around a slab of concrete which just two days later would support a framed weather proofed home. Your generosity has helped Manny immensely and continues to keep our spirit of resiliency alive. Manny will begin his studies of physical education at Central State University in the fall. Manny being Manny, hopes to pass along his experience to students for many years to come.
