Greetings all H.E.A.R.T. 9/11 Members,

With one international 2012 project already completed, H.E.A.R.T. 9/11 is turning its attention to our own shores as we have identified a very worthwhile project. H.E.A.R.T. 9/11 will assist in the building of a specially adapted home for one of our wounded returning veterans. Specifically, H.E.A.R.T. 9/11 has been asked to frame and sheath a home in Connecticut over a three day period – March 23-25, 2012.

Lodging will be provided as will breakfast and lunch at no cost to our members. We will provide tools but it is always a good idea to bring your own. All members will be issued H.E.A.R.T. 9/11 work shirts. Please contact Project Manager John Viola at if you would like to help us help USMC Corporal Manny Jimenez (see below story).

Manny, a squad leader in Afghanistan was on a routine foot patrol on August 1, 2010 when an IED detonated resulting in a high left shoulder amputation, loss of hearing in his left ear and partial sight loss in his left eye.
Manny grew up in New Britain, CT. His goal is to go to college to become a physical education instructor.

Help him achieve his dreams for the service and sacrifice he made on our behalf.
