Clarksville, TN Tornado Response

HEART 9/11 deployed an initial tornado response team to the hard-hit area of Clarksville, TN, to assist local authorities with assessments, debris removal, and tarping. In December, an EF-3 tornado devastated the town. In January, HEART 9/11 deployed a second team that assisted active duty and military veterans with roof repair and tarping. HEART 9/11 volunteers built a ramp for an elderly veteran who had a heart condition and was living with a neighbor. They also salvaged his possessions and put things in storage bins. HEART 9/11 was proud to help a brother in need and collaborate with Action Crisis Teams to make a difference in this hard-hit community. As usual, the HEART 9/11 members have set a high bar in their skill level and commitment to solid work.
